As reported by the company through an internal statement, this withdrawal will be paid in a monthly payment plan, equivalent to 50% of the seniority in years at the time of signing.
This Friday, Aerolíneas Argentinas opened a voluntary retirement process for some 8,000 workers who are part of the ground staff and have been working for more than two years.
As reported by the company through an internal statement, this withdrawal will be paid in a monthly payment plan, equivalent to 50% of the seniority in years at the time of signing. These payments will be adjusted according to the salary increases agreed with the company.
The deadline to sign up for this plan is next March 31. The day of departure of the company must be agreed with the management of Aerolíneas Argentinas. It should also be noted that workers who are within the Pre-Retirement Agreement Plan will not be able to take advantage of this retirement.
This is the company's first retirement plan in the last 15 years and comes at a time when the state airline is questioning its profitability, amid possible steps by the government to proceed with its privatization.
