Hyatt Hotels has announced that it is expanding its presence in the Caribbean and in collaboration with Hotel Properties of Panama it will open the new Hyatt Regency Panama City, which is scheduled to open for summer next year.
Hyatt Regency Panama City will be the first Hyatt Regency hotel in Panama City and the third Hyatt hotel in Panama.
The hotel will be in the heart of the business district of Panama City, less than 16 kilometers from the Tocumen international airport, near the Multiplaza shopping center and the new Amador Convention Center.
The Hyatt Regency Panama City will offer 382 rooms and suites spread across two towers, as well as a swimming pool, a fitness center, several restaurants, including a wine bar and a café, as well as several meeting and event spaces.
Additionally, the hotel is just a short drive from downtown Panama City, the Pacific and Caribbean coasts, and local attractions such as the Panama Canal, the Casco Viejo neighborhood, and the new Fuerte Amador cruise terminal.
