The Peruvian Minister of Economy revealed that his counterpart from Brazil's Planning and Budget asked him to talk to him about the routes by which the South American giant can transport its production of soybeans, grains and corn through Chancay.

"The Minister of Planning and Budget of Brazil asked me to talk to her about the routes by which they could transport their production of soybeans, grains, corn, among others, through the port of Chancay," he said.

Between Monday and Tuesday of this week, Minister Simone Tebet visited the Chancay Port Terminal, which the company Cosco Shipping Ports has been building and which has a construction progress of 70%. The project investment in its first stage amounts to US$ 1.3 billion.

The port of Chancay will have the capacity to dock the largest cargo ships in the world, which can transport more than 18,000 containers. In a first stage it will have four docks, but in the future there could be 15.
