It is expected that on 13 of the days all aviation will be affected in different time slots, with strikes occurring in two time slots on some of these days.

The Association of Aircraft Protection and Safety Technicians and Employees (Atepsa) has called for 18 days of protest during the month of June, which will begin next Sunday, June 9, to demand salary increases, which will affect national and international flights.

The protests will last about three hours per day and will affect national, international flights or both, depending on the controllers' strike day.

Thus, it is expected that on 13 of the 18 days all aviation will be affected in different time slots, with strikes occurring in two time slots on some of these days.

For its part, on June 9, 12, 18, 21 and 23, the strike will only affect international flights, and will last for periods of between three and six hours.

This force measure is part of the conflict that the controllers have with the Argentine Air Navigation Company (EANA), the state company that manages air traffic, with the aim of demanding salary improvements in the current context of high inflation in Argentina and the layoffs of recent months in the sector.

The protests will only affect authorizations of aircraft and vehicles on the ground, impacting only takeoffs, and not landings, thus guaranteeing ongoing operations. Search and rescue, humanitarian, medical and State flights will be exempt.
