Directors of the Brazil Peru Chamber of Commerce (Cambraper), led by its president Rafael Torres and vice president Lilian Schiavo, carried out an intense agenda in Brasilia with the purpose of promoting and consolidating trade and investment relations between both countries.
During their visit, they held key meetings with senior Brazilian government officials and representatives of the public and private sectors.
Among the notable meetings was a working table with the Director of International Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, Fernando Pimentel, head of the Trade Policy Department.
Likewise, a strategic dialogue was carried out with the president of the Agrarian Commission of the Federal Senate, Senator Alan Rick, and his team, as well as with the Governor of the State of Acre.
These meetings, supported by the Embassy of Peru in Brazil, highlight Peru as a strategic partner for Brazil, especially in the framework of important logistics projects such as the Chancay Megaport and the new Jorge Chávez international airport.
In this context, various regulatory, technical and infrastructure challenges were also addressed that require joint attention to optimize terrestrial communication systems and ensure the success of these significant investments.
In addition, a cocktail party was held to present the Cambraper at the official residence of the Embassy of Peru in Brasilia, an event that brought together important authorities such as senators, federal deputies, associates and directors of the Chamber, as well as key representatives of government agencies and Brazilian business unions.
The delegation of the Chamber and the Embassy of Peru in Brazil, with the participation of Ambassador Rómulo Acurio, also held productive meetings with the general management of Fecomercio Brazil, representative of more than a million businessmen, and with the international department of the CNI , an entity that brings together Brazilian business federations, together with the Apex Brasil team, the country's export and investment promotion agency.
This initiative has once again positioned Peru at the center of attention of the Brazilian government and business spheres, which is expected to contribute significantly to the strengthening of trade and investment relations between both countries.
The Brazil – Peru Chamber of Commerce affirms that, in this way, it promotes bilateral trade between Brazil and Peru, connecting companies, promoting business opportunities and facilitating a solid economic exchange.
