The Peruvian company, part of the Andino Group , hired its logistics and legal suppliers, within the framework of the competition it won in February for the construction and operation of a cargo terminal at the Madrid airport.

Servicios Aeroportuarios Andino Global (SAASA Global), a subsidiary of Andino Global, began the construction process to become the third cargo logistics operator for third parties at the Madrid–Barajas airport, within the framework of the competition it won in February for the construction. and operation of a cargo area of approximately 14,000 m2 with a buildable area of 6,100 m2 in the aforementioned air terminal.

As part of these tasks, SAASA Global has already contracted its logistics and legal suppliers to develop the air cargo terminal. The logistics part will be in charge of the engineering company IDP, which will prepare the basic and construction design of the new infrastructure; and BeCon Projects, which will be in charge of its equipment.

Meanwhile, the legal aspects of the project will fall to the Montero & Aramburu studio. These contracts will allow the SAASA subsidiary to soon begin the construction process of the new terminal, which will be located on the air side of the logistics area of Ramp 4 of the Barajas airport.

Once the buildable area is built, SAASA Global will become the third logistics operator in providing services to third parties at the aforementioned airport, ranking only behind the international giants WFS (Singapore), which will have 23,800 m2; and Swissport (Switzerland), with about 12,700 m2.

These efforts are part of the objective of the company, which has chosen Spain to list and expand its operations after making the leap from Peru.

Currently, SAASA Global already operates in Mexico: the Benito Juárez Airport in Mexico City; the Felipe Ángeles International Airport, in Zumpango de Ocampo; the Adolfo López Mateos International Airport, in Toluca; and the Manuel Crescencio Rejón International Airport, in Mérida. In addition, SAASA, its parent company, has operations at the Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima.
