inDrive partners with MIC Global and launches insurance for passengers and drivers

The insurance provides coverage for personal accidents and medical expenses to inDrive drivers and passengers worldwide, starting with Latin America.

The urban mobility platform inDrive announced this Tuesday a strategic partnership with MIC Global, a leading provider of integrated microinsurance solutions. This collaboration aims to provide personal accident and medical expense coverage to inDrive drivers and passengers in urban and City-to-City ridesharing around the world.

The insurance, which will have coverage throughout each country, is already active in Chile, Colombia, Peru, Mexico and Brazil and will be available for the entire region this year. Initial offers include personal accident coverage (Accidental Death and Permanent Total Disability) and accidental medical expense coverage (Hospital Money and Medical Expense Reimbursement). These coverages provide timely financial support, allowing drivers to manage medical and hospital costs and protect their families in the event of permanent disability or death.
