Brazilian brewer Ambev has appointed Carlos Eduardo Klutzenschell Lisboa as the company's future CEO, replacing Jean Jereissati Neto, effective January 1, 2025.
Klutzenschell Lisboa was previously the chairman and president of Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), the world's largest brewer, in the Americas. Jereissati, who is stepping down as CEO, will take over this role.
Carlos Eduardo Klutzenschell Lisboa will also leave the company's board of directors as of January 1, 2025, the company has explained to the market.
A graduate in Business Administration, since 1993 he has held various leadership positions in sales and marketing at the Company and at AB Inbev, including Vice President of Marketing at Ambev from 2005 to 2011, President of Labatt in Canada from 2013 to 2014, Global Vice President of Global Brands at AB Inbev from 2014 to 2016, President of Latin America South at Ambev from 2016 to 2018 and President of the Americas Zone at AB Inbev since January 2019.
