The Presidency of the Council of Ministers of the Dina Boluarte government approved the inclusion of these initiatives from regional governments.

The Presidency of the Council of Ministers of Peru (PCM) today approved the portfolio of the National Infrastructure Authority (ANIN), which contains five investment projects.

The regional governments of Ancash, Apurimac, Arequipa and Piura requested the incorporation of five investment projects in the portfolio of the National Infrastructure Authority, which include two health centers, a highway, an interurban road and an irrigation infrastructure project.

By means of a supreme decree, published today in the official newspaper El Peruano, it is established that the National Infrastructure Authority begins the phases of formulation, evaluation and execution of the approved investment projects or programs, as long as the respective financing is available from the corresponding regional governments, whose execution of the expenditure is subject to said condition.

The recitals of the regulation recall that the National Infrastructure Authority is in charge of a portfolio of infrastructure investment projects or programs that have investment amounts equal to or greater than two hundred million soles, that are included in the current multi-annual investment program and that do not have physical execution.

It is also noted that the holder of a Peruvian Government, regional government or municipality document may propose to the National Infrastructure Authority the inclusion in the infrastructure portfolio of investment projects or programs that correspond to their respective area of competence.
