Petroperú now has a new board of directors after the resignation of the former board of directors of the state energy company was formalized, according to an important fact from the Lima Stock Exchange (BVL).
Alejandro Narváez will be the new president of the state oil company in the category of independent director.
At the General Shareholders Meeting of Petroperú, in Universal Session, it was agreed to appoint Alejandro Narváez Liceras as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petróleos del Perú or Petroperú as of November 8, 2024.
He will be accompanied on the board by Robert James Mc Donald Zapff, in the category of independent director, Carlos Alberto Lezameta Escribans, in the category of non-independent director, David Quispe Figueroa, in the category of non-independent director, and César Rodríguez Villanueva, in the category of independent director.
Likewise, in the Universal Session it was agreed to formalize the resignations of Oliver Thomas Alexander Stark Preuss as Chairman of the Board, and of Germán Alfredo Boza Pro, David Alfredo Tuesta Cárdenas, Carlos Augusto Villalobos Dulanto and Pedro Fernando Gamio Aita, from the positions of members of the Board.
