Procon, a Brazilian institution responsible for protecting consumers in Sao Paulo, fined Nestlé 13 million reais (US$2.2 million) for misleading advertising on Wednesday, following an inspection of the company.

The advertising on the packaging of the identified products (Nesfit Oat and Honey Cookie, Nesfit Milk and Honey Cookie, Nesfit Cocoa, Oat and Honey Cookie) was misleading and misled consumers.
The product Crema de Leche, composed of cream and whey, with the brand name "Nestlé Creme de Leite" highlighted on the front label, was also analyzed and is part of the set of warnings issued by Procon, considering that the consumer was clearly misled regarding the characteristics and composition of these products.
