“The private sector is persecuted to submit to supposed moral commandments on issues such as gender, racial issues or environmental issues that often end up attacking the freedom and capacity of companies to generate wealth,” added Milei, quoted by EFE Agency.

As the activity coincided with Musk, with whom he later met privately, both exchanged messages on the “X” social network.

“Great meeting with President Javier Milei,” wrote the billionaire, attaching a photograph.

“I recommend investing in Argentina,” he added.

This is the second time that Milei has met with Musk in less than a month, since last April the president traveled to Texas to see one of Tesla's production plants.

This is also Milei's fifth trip abroad since he became president of Argentina on December 10, and the sixth since he was elected in the second round of the elections, held on November 19, 2023.
