Deltacomgroup expands operations in Chile with US$290,000 loan from Cofides

The company of Madrid origin will launch an engineering laboratory (repair center) in Santiago, Chile.

Cofides will provide a co-investment loan in the amount of US$291,784 to Deltacomgroup, charged to Fonpyme and Cofides' own resources, to support the establishment of the parent company of the DGC group in Chile.

Of Madrid origin, Deltacomgroup offers engineering solutions, managed professional services and associated circular economy services in the telecommunications sector. The number of employees exceeds 100 people and its clients include telecommunications operators, equipment manufacturers and companies that have telecommunications infrastructure.

Deltacomgroup was awarded a contract for the provision of telecommunications infrastructure asset management, repair, and spare parts logistics services for one of the main telecommunications operators. To provide this service, Deltacomgroup will launch an engineering laboratory (repair center) in Santiago, Chile.

This is the fourth operation in which Cofides and Deltacomgroup collaborate, after accompanying the company in its projects in Colombia, Mexico and Nigeria. The company maintains a clear international vocation in order to grow, diversify risks and gain competitiveness.

The corporate director of the Investment Department of Cofides, Miguel Ángel Ladero, has pointed out that "it is very gratifying" to accompany companies with a high technological component such as Deltacomgroup in their internationalization process, helping them achieve in each project "greater competitiveness and the generation of quality employment".

For his part, the CEO of DeltaComGroup, Antonio Peinado, has assured that this Engineering Center has been created to offer professional and comprehensive asset management services for telecommunications network infrastructures.

"DeltaComGroup has a clear vocation to operate in global telecommunications markets, that is, to follow the main telecommunications operators in their expansion strategies, developing an accelerated internationalization strategy," he defended.

This project contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 8, Decent work and economic growth, 9 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, 10, Reduction of inequalities and 12, Responsible production and consumption.
