The deal adds more than 2,600 rooms to Wyndham's portfolio, which now spans more than 50 resorts worldwide.
The hotel companies Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Decameron All Inclusive Hotels & Resorts have signed a strategic alliance to expand the offering of both companies in the "all-inclusive" segment in Mexico, Panama and Jamaica.
This long-term agreement means that nine hotels with a total of 2,600 rooms from the Decameron company located in Mexico, Panama and Jamaica will join the Wyndham portfolio, using its own brands, but also Trademark Collection and Ramada.
Five Decameron resorts will join Wyndham's Trademark Collection by Wyndham brand and another four will join Ramada by Wyndham.
Thanks to this strategic alliance, Wyndham's all-inclusive offer is expanded, reaching 50 resorts around the world, while Decameron will benefit from the marketing, technology and merchandising platforms of the American chain and its loyalty program.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is one of the world's largest hotel franchise companies by number of properties, with approximately 9,200 hotels in more than 95 countries on six continents.
For its part, Decameron has almost 30 properties in eight countries and offers more than 4.5 million guest nights per year. Decameron currently operates more than 7,000 rooms in Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama and Peru.
