In the 2024 ranking, Mexico was positioned as the 21st country among the most attractive for foreign investment. It was the second best positioned Latin American country, after Brazil.

The Foreign Direct Investment Confidence Index is prepared by Kearney, and it found that the most attractive country for these foreign capital inflows is the United States. The podium is completed by Canada and China.
According to this index, Mexico is currently the second most attractive Latin American country for FDI, only below Brazil.
Argentina also managed to sneak into the top 25, occupying position 24.
