Luis Arce in Russia: Putin is committed to energy development with Bolivia

The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, highlighted the leadership that Luis Arce assumes in Bolivia and proposed continuing bilateral cooperation, fundamentally on issues of energy development and nuclear technology for the future.

“We have many interesting projects and objectives planned as priorities raised with the previous leadership of your country. You continue with the tradition and we have many topics to talk about,” Putin told Arce at the Konstantinovskly Palace in Saint Petersburg.

Vladimir Putin also highlighted the projects that are already being carried out in Bolivia, such as cooperation in nuclear technology.

“There are interesting areas in our cooperation, in particular high technologies with the Rosatom company that carries out a program. And build a nuclear research and development center in the city of El Alto,” said the Russian.

Luis Arce landed in Russia on Wednesday for a protocol visit that also includes meetings with universities, businessmen and his participation in the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Arce thanked him for the invitation and conveyed to his Russian counterpart his intention to further expand bilateral ties. And go hand in hand in achieving new projects.
