The company is part of the Brazilian Patria Investmentos fund.

Megacentro, the Chilean industrial real estate rental group, announced that it had reached an agreement with the company IceStar, part of the Brazilian fund Patria Investmentos, for the sale of Mega Frío, specialists in logistics of frozen and refrigerated products, which owns eight distribution centers of this type throughout the country.

The closing of the operation is subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions, which are pending, including, among others, approval by the National Economic Prosecutor's Office (FNE).

For the general manager of Megacentro, Claudio Chamorro, if completed, “the sale of this business unit is an important step on the path that the company has undertaken to concentrate on its core business (from logistics parks with built-to-suit warehouses to mini warehouses for companies, entrepreneurs and people) and continue reducing their debt.”
