Redarbor, based in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona), has closed the acquisition of 100% of the employment portal Catho, which operates in Brazil, and OCC, in Mexico, from the Australian employment site group SEEK, the company reports this Friday in a statement.

The operation, which has a value of US$ 85 million, "consolidates Redarbor's positioning in Latin America where it already has a presence in 20 countries through its job ads websites Computrabajo and Infojobs Brasil, and its Human Resources software , Pandapé ".

Headquartered in Melbourne (Australia), SEEK is one of the world's leading job search marketplace companies, listed on the Australian Securities Exchange since 2005.

"This is a strategic operation for Redarbor, with which it doubles the expected business volume for 2024 to around US$ 128.6 million and with which it will reinforce its presence in Brazil and Mexico, markets with great growth opportunities" , they claim.

Both portals will maintain their brands and continue to operate as separate job boards.

Redarbor has financed the operation through an investment from the international private equity fund, Vitruvian Partners, which has become the company's new partner with a significant minority stake.
