Uruguay attracts investments in the electricity sector despite high rates and eclipses Paraguay

They detail that the construction of the plant has four stages and that it will take 26 months and they also explain that the center will operate uninterruptedly and UTE, the state company in charge of energy supply, will supply it from a substation.

560,000 MWH OF ANNUAL CONSUMPTION

They add that the plant's consumption will reach 560,000 MWh per year, 70.5% of the amount that Acaray produced in 2023, according to sources from the National Development Agency of Uruguay (ANDE).
