The transaction includes Femsa's transportation management logistics operations in Mexico and contract logistics in Mexico, Brazil and Colombia, but not Femsa's LTL ( less-than-truckload ) operations in Brazil.

Mexican company Femsa announced Thursday that it has reached a definitive agreement with Grupo Traxión, a transportation and logistics company in Mexico, to sell its logistics operations under the name Solistica for $4.06 billion Mexican pesos (about US$205 million).

The transaction includes Femsa's transportation management logistics operations in Mexico and contract logistics in Mexico, Brazil and Colombia, but not Femsa's LTL ( less-than-truckload ) operations in Brazil.

This transaction represents an additional step in the execution of the FEMSA Forward plan that was announced in February 2023. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions, and is expected to close in the following months.
