Parque Arauco invested almost US$ 1 million in the modernization of its shopping centers in these cities in the "small south" of Peru.

Parque Arauco, a Chilean developer and operator of commercial real estate assets, announces the rebranding of its MegaPlaza shopping centers in the Peruvian cities of Chincha, Cañete and Pisco to "Parque."

This is part of a comprehensive renovation strategy designed to offer customers in these cities a more modern, accessible experience tailored to their needs.

It is also part of the reorganization of Parque Arauco's brand portfolio in the retail vertical, a process that has been carried out in recent years for shopping centers at a regional level.

For the transformation of these three assets, the operator invested more than S/. 3.5 million (US$ 929,772). The project included significant improvements in infrastructure and services, such as the modernization of spaces, new free games for children, renovated rest areas, improvements in signage, lighting, and the creation of scenarios for activations and events.

MOTIVATION FOR REBRAND CHANGE

The new identity of the "Parques" brand aims to turn its shopping centres into essential meeting places for the communities of Chincha, Cañete and Pisco, while remaining places of reference for the daily life of its visitors.

“What we are looking for in the long term with this rebranding is to continue strengthening and consolidating our portfolio of shopping center brands, adapting the value propositions according to the preferences and local needs of consumers in each of the regions in which we operate. Our goal is for the new 'Parks' to be spaces where families can enjoy a unique experience, with modern facilities and a friendly atmosphere,” explained Alejandro Camino, general manager of Parque Arauco Division Peru.

NEW BRANDS AND LOCATORS

During this year, new tenants have arrived at these shopping centers, enriching the commercial offer with brands such as Dollarcity in Pisco and Cañete, HiperAsia, BeSifrah, Fantasy Park and Deliyogo in Chincha. In the coming months, the opening of more stores such as BeSifrah in Pisco is expected, in line with the objective of strengthening the mix of brands and products available to local consumers.
