The opening will be on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at the Scala shopping center. This international brand celebrates two years of having arrived in the Andean country this month.
The international brand H&M continues to expand and, two years after arriving in Ecuador, is preparing to open its fifth store. It will be located in the Scala shopping center, in the Cumbayá area.
The opening is scheduled for Thursday, October 24, 2024.
The store will have a sales area of around 2,800 square meters and will offer women's, men's and children's collections. It will have 100% LED lighting and the Building Monitoring System (BMS), which allows the control and automation of the store, providing real-time monitoring of its consumption and status.
“These innovations will significantly increase the energy efficiency of this store and enable us to meet our 2040 sustainability goal,” the brand said in a statement.
Michael Beaumont, Regional Head of Expansion for H&M Americas, commented: “This is our most exciting and fashionable season yet, and we can’t wait to share it with our customers in this beautiful new location in Quito.”
The first H&M store opened in Quito on October 22, 2022. The store in Quicentro was later joined by stores in El Contado, also in the capital, and in the San Marino and Mall del Sol shopping centers in Guayaquil.
H&M Group is a global fashion and design company with more than 4,000 stores in over 75 markets and online sales in 60 markets.
