At launch, Jüsto on Amazon will be available in a select number of neighborhoods in Mexico City, before expanding to all cities where Jüsto has a presence in the coming months.

Amazon today announced a strategic partnership with Jüsto, the Mexican-based digital supermarket. Jüsto will make its full range of categories available to customers on Amazon.com.mx, including fresh produce, fruits and vegetables, with delivery within four hours of placing an order.

In an initial phase, Jüsto on Amazon will be available in a certain number of neighborhoods in Mexico City, with plans to expand to all cities where Jüsto has a presence in the following months.

"At Amazon Mexico, we are committed to offering our customers an exceptional shopping experience, with a wide selection, low prices, and great convenience, to become an increasingly complete option for customers in Mexico. We recognize that providing access to fresh produce and other perishable groceries is a key area of opportunity for us. Therefore, we are pleased to announce this collaboration with Jüsto, the leading digital supermarket in the region, which will allow us to provide our customers with access to Jüsto's catalog of thousands of high-quality products, including fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, frozen foods, dairy products, everyday essentials, as well as the well-known Jüsto brand products," said Pedro Huerta, Country Manager of Amazon in Mexico.

Both Amazon and Jüsto work with small and medium-sized businesses. In the case of Amazon Mexico, there are more than 27,000 small and medium-sized Mexican businesses that offer more than 5 million products. To date, more than 3,000 of these companies have been able to expand to Amazon United States and other countries thanks to Amazon's Global Sales program. Jüsto, for its part, works with a vast network of suppliers, of which 84% are small and medium-sized Mexican producers. Jüsto's main objective is to provide comprehensive support in establishing distribution processes, eliminating intermediaries, and negotiating fair trade agreements for all parties.

“At Jüsto we have always firmly believed in Mexican talent and our ability to generate disruptive technology. We are proud to have the opportunity to announce this strategic alliance with Amazon, which is the global leader in the e-commerce industry. We will continue to focus on generating cutting-edge technology and processes to guarantee the freshest products and the best grocery shopping experience for all Amazon users in Mexico,” said Ricardo Weder, founder and CEO of Jüsto.
