Both presidents have sent invitations for institutional visits to both China and Argentina, something that will be discussed by the foreign ministries of both countries.
The President of Argentina, Javier Milei, together with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, have agreed to continue exploring new opportunities to expand and improve everything that involves strengthening bilateral relations, reaffirming the ties and trade agreements between both countries.
"Both nations agreed to continue working on strengthening their trade ties and developing joint projects that benefit both economies," the Argentine president's office said in a statement released on Tuesday.
Both presidents have also sent invitations for institutional visits to both China and Argentina, something that will be discussed by the foreign ministries of both countries.
According to Chinese media, the Asian president expressed his willingness to work with Argentina and collaborate with the country in adopting a development path that is in line with its national conditions, after praising Milei's work for the reforms she is carrying out.
The meeting took place within the framework of the G20 Summit being held this week in Brazil. On the sidelines, the Argentine president also held bilateral meetings with the President of India, Narendra Modri, and with the French President, Emmanuel Macron.
