According to the information provided to the market on Monday, Weg has agreed that the statutory position held until now by Eduardo de Nóbrega will cease to exist.

The board of directors of Brazilian industrial machinery manufacturer Weg has agreed to the dismissal of its Director of Operations in China, Eduardo de Nóbrega, effective 1 February 2025, after more than 15 years with the company.

As reported to the market on Monday, Weg has agreed that the statutory position held until now by Eduardo de Nóbrega will cease to exist and operations will be directly handled by the operations directors of the various business units.

The company wished Eduardo de Nóbrega success in his new stage and thanked him and recognized his professionalism and seriousness, "for the significant contribution he has offered to the company and all Weg collaborators."

Prior to taking up this position in China, the COO held the positions of Industrial Director and COO of Weg's Energy unit, adding up to more than 15 years in the company.
