IDB Invest has signed an agreement with Colabora Capital Partners (CCP) to create a new investment management platform focused on Latin America and the Caribbean.
The investment arm of IDB and CCP aim to address long-term capital needs in the region and grow private capital markets. In this regard, they will collaborate with institutional investors to design the platform, supporting sectors aligned with IDB Invest's mission.
The platform is designed to catalyze the influx of private capital into Latin America and the Caribbean, bringing institutional investors closer to the vast untapped opportunities in the region. By aligning with pension funds, sovereign wealth funds and development institutions, this platform will create a new wave of investment solutions, helping to close the financing gap for key sectors.
IDB Invest is committed to playing a leading role in unlocking these opportunities and driving substantial capital flows to foster long-term growth and sustainable development throughout the region.
Through this initiative, IDB Invest reaffirms its commitment to work with all relevant actors in the region to maximize the impact of the platform and contribute to the economic and social development of Latin America and the Caribbean.
