As of Resolution 26/2025, test reports and international certificates from recognized and accepted organizations will be accepted for marketing in high surveillance countries and neighboring countries.

The Argentine government has approved the simplification of regulations for the import and production of cement, in order to encourage competition and lower prices by eliminating bureaucratic obstacles.

As of Resolution 26/2025, test reports and international certificates from recognized and accepted organizations will be accepted for marketing in high surveillance countries and neighboring countries (Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay), which reduces the expense in product conformity assessment procedures, in addition to avoiding complex double certification procedures that generated months of delay.

The Secretariat of Industry and Commerce of the Ministry of Economy established safety and quality characteristics that must be met by cements for general use; for special properties; for concrete for road use applicable with high-performance technology; and for masonry.

On the other hand, the provision establishes that national and foreign certificates from accredited certification bodies are valid for marketing in the country, thus avoiding the duplication of tests and control processes that already verified international plants.
