
By market, in Brazil, which represents around 53% of turnover, Ambev increased its revenue by 4.8%, reaching 48.605 billion Brazilian reals (8.044 billion euros).
Brazilian brewer Ambev has kept its net attributable profit practically stable in 2024, with a slight drop of 0.4% compared to 2023, leaving it with profits of 14.437 billion Brazilian reals (2.387 billion euros).
According to the company's statement on Wednesday, net sales reached 89.452 billion Brazilian reals (14.795 billion euros), which represents a turnover 12.2% higher than that recorded in the previous year.
By market, in Brazil, which represents around 53% of turnover, Ambev increased its revenue by 4.8%, reaching 48.605 billion Brazilian reals (8.044 billion euros). In Central America and the Caribbean, turnover grew by 9.7% year-on-year, in Canada by 4.8% and in South America by a significant 43.7%.
Costs, meanwhile, increased by 11% year-on-year to 43.615 billion Brazilian reals (7.218 billion euros).
Gross operating profit (EBITDA) was BRL 29,028 million (EUR 4,804 million), 14% higher than the figure recorded by the company at the end of the 2023 financial year. The EBITDA margin rose by 2 percentage points to 32.5%.
Meanwhile, operating profit for 2024 as a whole reached BRL 21.902 billion (EUR 3.624 billion), which is equivalent to a 15% increase year-on-year.
Ambev CEO Carlos Lisboa highlighted the "continuous" boost in revenues in 2024, Ebitda growth and an expansion of the Ebitda margin for the second consecutive year.
Looking ahead to 2025, Ambev will continue to work to find opportunities and improve efficiency, pursuing its ambition to expand consolidated margins.
