With a combined surface of nearly 2,000 hectares, both Peruvian companies are respectively recognized as the main producers of premium varieties of blueberries and avocados in the country.
Unifrutti Group, a Chile-based producer and distributor of fresh fruit, announced the acquisition of 100% of Bomarea and the Peruvian operations of AvoAmerica (AvoAmerica Perú) from US investors Solum Partners (a private equity fund) and Alpine Fresh (a fresh fruit and vegetable producer and distributor).
The two acquisitions reinforce Unifrutti's presence in Peru and broader its multifruit portfolio with top quality blueberries and avocados.
