With this new purchase, the company will connect opportunities by operating in 12 countries in the region: from Mexico to Chile, aiming to strengthen its value proposition.
HIG Capital, a private equity management firm with US$60 billion of assets under management, announced that Ransa, its portfolio company, completed the acquisition of Loginsa, one of the 10 main logistics operators in Chile, thus completing its presence throughout the Pacific Coast of Latin America: from Mexico to Chile, now in 12 countries.
For its part, Ransa is one of the largest 3PL logistics platforms in the region and offers foreign trade services, cold and dry storage, transportation and distribution, and value-added services.
It has 85 years of experience, presence in 11 countries (Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Costa Rica and Mexico) and 72 headquarters that function as distribution and storage centers located in the main cities and ports of the region.

Currently, it has distribution centers in all its business units and operates in various industries, especially in the retail and pharma, cold, as well as refrigerated sectors, with one of its main strengths being the development and implementation of technology.
This acquisition will allow connecting clients in all the countries of the Pacific Coast to create opportunities that are beneficial for their businesses, since the specialization of both companies in the field and the match in logistics services of storage, transportation and distribution, value-added and last mile services, will strengthen the value offer for dry and cold products.
In this way, by entering Chile as a new geography, Ransa will have operations in 95 regional headquarters, more than 4.2 million m2 of infrastructure, more than 452,000 dry positions, more than 52,500 cold positions.
