"We will be the first company in the Mexican industry to provide a specific plan to support the immobilization of a vehicle," said the Chirey representative.

The Chinese automotive company Chirey Motor Company established an alliance in Mexico with the courier firm DHL, with the purpose of guaranteeing the supply of auto parts for the Asian company's clients.

The manager of Chirey's after-sales area, Martín Martínez, indicated in a speech that the firm's expectations in Mexico "are very great" and highlighted that its commitment is to guarantee the mobility and tranquility of its clients.

"We will be the first company in the Mexican industry to provide a specific plan to support the immobilization of a vehicle," said the representative of Chirey, which in Mexico also markets the OMODA and JAECOO brands.

For his part, the deputy director of after-sales at OMODA, Miguel Mercado, explained that the alliance with DHL breaks "the paradigm" that Chinese companies do not have enough spare parts for the vehicles they market in the country.

In this case, the new distribution center that the companies under the alliance will operate will have 517,000 pieces in inventory, enough for a supply over a period of seven months.

The plan seeks for the distribution of spare parts to reach the main cities of Mexico in a maximum of 24 to 48 hours, and to remote cities in up to 78 hours.

Chinese manufacturers are gradually increasing their presence in Mexico's automotive sector, a phenomenon that has been more noticeable in the last two years.

In the first two months of the year, the sale of units imported from China represented 20.3% of the total Mexican market, higher than the 16.6% it was at the end of 2022, according to figures from the Mexican Association of Distributors. of Automotive (AMDA).
