Resources are transferred to the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Provincial Municipality of the port of Callao.
Peru's Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) has authorized financial transfers totaling 25,550,233 soles (US$6.7 million) to optimize access routes to the new Jorge Chávez International Airport.
Through a supreme decree, published today in the official newspaper El Peruano , a transfer of 23 million 820,825 soles (US$ 6.2 million) was approved in favor of the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC), to finance expenses associated with the reactivation of the economy, through maintenance interventions on the non-concessioned road network, to optimize access to the new terminal of the Jorge Chávez International Airport.
Likewise, the transfer of 1 million 729,408 soles (US$ 456,643) in favor of the Provincial Municipality of Callao was authorized, to finance expenses associated with the reactivation of the economy, through urban road maintenance interventions, to optimize access to the new Jorge Chávez International Airport.
The holder of the enabling document for the transfer of items and the enabled documents approve, by resolution, the disaggregation of the authorized resources within five calendar days of the validity of this legal provision.
The resources from the transfer of items cannot be used, under any responsibility, for purposes other than those for which they are transferred.
