This meant a balance of almost US$104 billion, a record level in the trade balance between these two countries.
It also meant that, for the first time, the trade surplus in the automotive sector exceeded US$100 billion.
According to the USMCA, in the automotive sector, exports must guarantee 75% regional content to enjoy tariff exceptions.
