The US president has indicated that his administration is working with Democratic lawmakers to obtain an extension of the tax cuts implemented during his first presidential term.

US President Donald Trump has presented an ambitious agenda of deregulation and tax cuts at the World Economic Forum, which he has announced as "the largest tax cut in American history", in order to boost economic growth and attract manufacturing to the country, while those producing abroad will face tariffs.

"To further boost our economy, our majorities in the House and Senate are going to pass the largest tax cuts in American history," Trump said, adding that they will include tax cuts for workers and families, and large tax cuts for domestic producers and manufacturers.

In this regard, the US president has indicated that his Administration is working with Democratic legislators to obtain an extension of the tax cuts implemented during his first presidential term.

"My message to all companies in the world is very simple. Come and manufacture your products in the United States and we will apply some of the lowest tariffs of any nation on Earth," Trump said, adding that those who prefer not to manufacture in the country "will have to pay a tariff."

The US is thus confident that these tariffs, of varying amounts, will direct hundreds of billions of dollars to the US Treasury to strengthen the economy and pay down the debt.

Trump has also announced what he has described as the "biggest deregulation campaign in history," which will transform the country into "the best place on Earth" to create jobs, build factories or grow a business.

On the other hand, he has boasted of having ended the "incredibly wasteful" Green New Deal , which he has referred to as the Green New Scam , including regulations related to electric vehicles to "let people buy whatever car they want", while by declaring a national energy emergency it will be possible to "unleash the liquid gold beneath our feet and pave the way for rapid approvals of new energy infrastructure".

"America has the most oil and gas of any country in the world, and we're going to use it," he promised, saying this would drive down the cost of goods and services, as well as turn the US into a manufacturing superpower and the world capital of artificial intelligence and cryptography.

In this regard, in addition to energy decisions at the national level, Trump has announced that he intends to ask Saudi Arabia and OPEC to reduce the price of oil.

"They have to scale it back," he said, surprised that the cartel did not make a decision in this regard before the presidential elections in November. "They did not show much affection by not doing so," he joked.

In his view, if the price were to fall, not only would the war between Russia and Ukraine end "immediately," but Trump has indicated that, with the fall in oil prices, he will demand that interest rates be lowered immediately.
