President Claudia Sheinbaum said this morning that most global automotive companies operating in Mexico have no plans to relocate their plants for now in light of the imposition of tariffs on the sector by her counterpart, Donald Trump.
"Most of them (automakers) have told us they don't plan to change anything at this time and that the situation needs to settle," the president said at her "People's Morning" press conference, referring to the contacts she has had with executives of companies in the sector, which is very sensitive to the national economy due to its impact on GDP.
