Cipher xMDR Senior VP Global explained that, "in a context where cyberattacks are becoming more sophisticated and frequent, the update of the xMDR platform is crucial to provide customers with greater breadth, agility and precision in threat detection."
Cipher, the cybersecurity division of the Prosegur Group, has improved the capabilities of its cybersecurity services platform (xMDR), by incorporating new advanced technologies based on big data , and has updated the previous artificial intelligence (AI) model to allow for improved processes of action against potential cyber threats, in order to grow in the United States and consolidate its position in Latin America, the company reported in a statement.
With this update, Cipher provides businesses with a "more robust, efficient and easy-to-use cybersecurity platform that enables optimized threat detection, analysis and response, while improving information quality and streamlining service management through advanced technology and a user-centric approach."
With these innovations, the company "reinforces its commitment to offering leading technological solutions that simplify and strengthen the digital security of its clients in an increasingly complex environment," it said.
Cipher xMDR Senior VP Global Carlos A. Fernandez explained that "in a context where cyberattacks are becoming more sophisticated and frequent, the update to xMDR is crucial to provide customers with greater breadth, agility and precision in detecting threats, such as in supply chains."
"At Cipher, we are committed to constant innovation to provide tools that help our customers stay one step ahead of cybercriminals," he said.
A TOTAL RENOVATION
The xMDR update includes a completely revamped interface and improvements to the platform architecture, enabling faster and more intuitive management of investigations and workflows, thanks to changes in the frontend and backend .
Additionally, key information visualization capabilities such as Mitre Attack Flow attack tracking and relational graph deployment have been enhanced, providing users with greater detail and clarity.
Key improvements to Cipher's platform include increased accuracy and efficiency through an update to its existing AI model, which "enriches adversary profiling and detection capabilities."
Portal assets are managed as more complete entities, especially identity information, which enhances response capabilities with new data flows.
The update also features a backend focus on microservices and endpoints, optimizing security, resilience and scalability in the cloud.
This transformation allows for parallel processes and improved control, auditing and registration mechanisms, both internal and in the management of portal information, the company explained.
In addition, numerous detection engines have been incorporated with the aim of continuing to cover the technologies that clients already have deployed by facilitating simple connections through APIs, all while maintaining centralization and security with minimum privilege access.
Finally, in the hunting area, the xMDR update introduces new service classifications and detection rules, expanding their quantity, quality and supported languages to offer a better service to customers.
